Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the new SORA Japanese School!
As we kick off the Spring season of 2024, we've been working to bring some refreshing changes to our school. Below is a summary of what we've changed and some news about what you can expect from us in the future. We hope you like the new look!
The Logo
We've redesigned our logo to incorporate Japanese elements!
We named the school, SORA (Sky), with the hope that students will develop the skills to explore the Japanese culture and values through the Japanese language. We aimed to be the bridge in the sky that connects you and the Japanese culture. With that being said, our new logo emphasizes what we believe is the pinnacle of Japan's identity which is Mt. Fuji, a national heritage site, to represent the scale and value of Japanese culture that we love to share with you. (plus it looks like the tip of a pencil!)
Japan is a home to a unique culture that you don't see anywhere else in the world. By incorporating the cultural context while learning the language, we aim to share the deeper and more complete understanding of Japan and their values with everyone around the world.
The Website
To complement the new logo, we've also revamped our website!
The simplified, yet refreshed website will be used to share regular contents about Japanese culture, events, travel tips, quick lessons, and more! We will work to create more bite-sized contents that will tickle your interests in learning Japanese or even traveling there. Please stay tuned for future updates!
Our Socials
As you may already follow, we are going to continue using our social media channels to share new information or news about our regular contents. If you are interested, please check out our socials (Facebook/Instagram)! What's new, however, is our plan to create a community discord server where students and members are able to share and discuss information about Japan or other interesting news with each other. We also hope to run some fun and engaging seasonal online events for our members in the future. If you have any suggestions of things that you may be interested in seeing, please feel free to let us know!
To conclude...
We'd like to thank our students who have been supporting us and our development over the course of the past 10+ years of operation. You inspire us all to work hard to deliver the best Japanese learning environment possible, and we will continue to do so by sharing our love of the Japanese culture with you in class and through our refreshed platforms!
If you have any questions about anything, or if you are currently looking to start learning Japanese with us, please don't hesitate to reach out using one of the forms below.
Thank you!
